Commercial Product Manager - Solar / Renewables

Location: Commutable from Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford, Oldham (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Quarterly Bonus + Product Training + Exciting Progression Opportunities + 25 Days Holiday + Pension

The Product Manager will be responsible for conducting market research, understanding customer needs and buying behaviors, evaluating product offerings, and making strategic decisions to enhance sales and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Product Manager role or similar, analyzing market trends and focusing on the commercial performance of products, such as Merchandiser, Category Manager, or Portfolio Manager. A good understanding of electrical and/or renewable products and their applications is essential.

The Role:

1. Manage a portfolio of products to increase sales and profitability
2. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new product introductions
3. Create strategies and present business cases to the wider company
4. Research and analyze market changes and competitor activities to realign strategies and maintain competitive advantage
5. Oversee the end-of-life cycle of products

The Person:

1. Proven experience as a Product Manager, Merchandiser, Category Manager, or similar role
2. Experience and knowledge of electrical and/or renewable products
3. Strong commercial acumen and market analysis skills
4. Technical understanding of product applications
