Commercial Property Associate Solicitor

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and take ownership of a diverse caseload, including acquisitions, disposals, development projects, leases, and landlord / tenant matters.
- Advise clients on planning, environmental issues, property finance, leasehold matters, and commercial property disputes.
- Draft and negotiate complex leases, contracts, agreements, and other property-related documentation.
- Conduct full due diligence including title investigations, searches, and resolving any issues arising during transactions.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, offering commercially focused, tailored legal advice.
- Liaise with third-party stakeholders such as surveyors, agents, lenders, and legal professionals to ensure seamless transactions.
- Assist with commercial property finance matters, including mortgages, loans, and security arrangements.
- Provide expert advice on property management issues including lease renewals, rent reviews, and tenant disputes.
- Stay current with key legal, regulatory, and market developments within commercial property.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in Commercial Property law.
- Strong technical expertise across acquisitions, disposals, leases, development matters, and property finance.
- Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and advise on complex commercial property documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Commercially aware, proactive, and able to manage a busy caseload effectively.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
