Commercial Property Solicitor – Award Winning Team. On behalf of a leading legal client, Abacus is promoting an opportunity to join a fast-growing practice in Belfast city. This is a hands-on role advising a variety of commercial property developers with demands across high-rise residential, retail and leisure sectors. Projects have included the acquisition, funding, development and disposal of land across a variety of sectors. The team also advises on general real estate management issues. This is a great chance to develop your legal career as a real estate specialist working with household name residential developers and other clients across NI/UK. The role will ideally be based in the Belfast office with a flexible working pattern that accommodates an agile mix of office and home-based working.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance to commercial property developers across high-rise residential, retail and leisure sectors.
  • Contribute to the acquisition, funding, development and disposal of land and advise on general real estate management issues.
  • Develop your career as a real estate specialist and engage with a range of clients across Northern Ireland and the UK.

Qualifications

  • Solicitor at associate or senior associate level with between 3-6 years’ PQE in real estate.
  • Strong experience in real estate development work and a demonstrable passion for the law.
  • Aspiring to achieve a higher level within the client’s structure.
  • Ambition to build and grow a network of clients within professional services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a confident manner in engaging with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong teamwork, the ability to work under pressure, drive, self-motivation and a proactive, discreet professional approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
