Location: Birmingham (Hybrid – 3 days office / flexible home working)

Opportunity

A well-established and forward-thinking law firm in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join their growing Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer looking to handle a broad range of high-quality commercial property work, with genuine career progression and flexibility through hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion.
• Act on behalf of landlords, tenants, developers, and investors in:
• Acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property
• Drafting and negotiating leases, assignments, and renewals
• Development site purchases and plot sales
• Secured lending and refinancing transactions
• Option agreements and overage arrangements
• Conduct due diligence, review titles, and draft relevant property documents.
• Maintain excellent client care and develop long‑term relationships with clients and referrers.
• Collaborate closely with partners and support junior team members.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2+ years’ PQE in commercial property law.
• Confident managing files independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
• Proactive, organised, and commercially minded.
• Able to work effectively within a supportive team environment and hybrid setup.
