Community Health Assessor/Phlebotomist - Full Training Provided! - ELD2
Location: Field Based – Various locations in London. Salary: £27,783 per year plus Commission, Overtime, Expenses and Benefits.
Role: You will join as an internally named Health Assessment Specialist and deliver high-quality health assessments across your region.
Responsibilities
- Work 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours total), with hours between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday, allocated 3-weeks in advance.
- Travel up to 2 hours to your venue; some days may involve public transport depending on venue.
- Work across multiple venues in your region, maintaining high quality in clinics and adapting to new environments.
- Plan routes, set up your kit on arrival, greet customers, and conduct 10–45 minute appointments (expect 15–22 customers per day).
- Perform health assessments based on chosen packages (including PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, and short fitness tests) and advise on appropriate further testing when suitable.
- Update and maintain administration records; do not relay results or lifestyle advice after assessments.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving License and access to your own car to transport kit (ability to store kit at home when not working).
- Availability to work any days Monday to Sunday and any times between 6am and 10pm on a rota basis (rotas typically 6am–4pm, 8am–6pm, 1pm–10pm).
- Proficiency with computers/laptops/phones/tablets.
- Clear DBS – processed on your behalf.
- Willingness to travel up to 2 hours from home and occasional overnight stays.
- Live within commuting distance of the regional location; attend Milton Keynes head office for two weeks of training (Mon-Fri, for both weeks).
- Willingness to learn and take on new skills.
- Satisfactory enhanced criminal records check (as part of onboarding, covered by us).
- Criminal record check required for all roles as part of onboarding.
