We have an exciting opportunity within the Wandsworth Safer and Stronger Communities Team for three fixed term Community Safety Anti-Social Behaviour Officer roles through Richmond and Wandsworth Better Service Partnership.

The Service works on key themes including Serious Violence, Offender Management, Anti-Social Behaviour, Neighbourhoods, Domestic Abuse, Prevent and Radicalisation and Hate Crime.

The three new Anti-Social Behaviour Officers will work alongside our Community Safety Officers in delivering a coordinated partnership approach in our response to crime and ASB issues in the North Battersea area. These wards include but are not limited to; Battersea Park ward, Falconbrook ward, Shaftesbury and Queenstown ward and St Marys ward.

We are looking for someone who has knowledge of enforcement powers in relation to anti-social behaviour and experience in managing caseload, co-ordinating and supporting projects. You need to be able to work well under pressure, prioritise your own workload, communicate openly and honestly with your colleagues and especially your manager on capacity. We hope the candidate can bring their own initiative and any innovative ideas to this exciting new role.

The Community Safety Anit-Social Behaviour Officer roles are fixed term until March 2027.

Some Of The Duties Will Include

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a related subject area or equivalent through previous work experience.

This is a fixed term full-time role for 36 hours per week. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly across Wandsworth Town Hall and potentially community buildings as well as having working from home arrangements. Occasionally you may be asked to work in the evening or weekend to attend and support the team at a community forum or evening event, notice will be provided.

Essential Qualifications, Skills And Experience

Knowledge of Section 17 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, The ASB Crime and Policing Act 2014 and the Crime and Policing Bill 2025 .

Experience in the use of relevant ASB tools and powers

Understanding of multi-agency partnership working, including knowledge of panels, information sharing and data protection

Minute taking and logging actions

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of services provided
