Overview
We are looking for a Community Team Leader to lead and develop a team of Community Officers to provide an exceptional customer service, while delivering against CHP’s Corporate Objectives and all regulatory and legal requirements. Provide insights and implement service improvements in collaboration with colleagues from across the organisation. Be a subject-matter expert, providing guidance and using your knowledge to drive positive change.
What you'll be doing
- Be a subject-matter expert in the delivery of services relating to estate management and related community services.
- Lead, coach and develop the Community Team to deliver excellent service to both the business and customers, supporting their growth as housing professionals, and facilitating their career development within CHP.
- Manage team resources on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the key functions of the team are delivered as required.
- Analyse, evaluate, and identify improvements needed for an outstanding customer experience and service development in the wider Neighbourhoods Team.
- Drive service improvements by collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation to achieve positive change.
What we are looking for
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations, and best practice as it relates to housing and tenancy management.
- Adaptability and capacity to work well under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Customer-focused with extensive experience in customer care techniques and practices within the social housing sector.
- The salary for this post will be £43,492 Per Annum, this post will also have a car allowance of £1458 per annum.

- 25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays, 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year and 1 wellbeing day per annum.
- 37 hours per week - employees may be able to work flexibly by agreement with their line manager, taking account of business need. We operate a hybrid working policy at CHP.
