Compensation Manager

We are excited to be recruiting for a Compensation Manager to support the ongoing development of the Total Rewards function at SEGA. In this newly created role, you will be a key player in embedding our compensation principles within SEGA and our studios, supporting the Head of Total Rewards to ensure our pay practices are competitive, equitable, and compliant. In your first year, you will help deliver on the upcoming EU Pay Transparency Directive, contributing to the evolution of our compensation practices and processes at SEGA.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the Head of Total Rewards in delivering SEGA's compensation strategy
  2. Contribute to the development of SEGA's compensation framework, including philosophy, job architecture, salary ranges, and more
  3. Manage the annual compensation planning and bonus processes
  4. Oversee salary benchmarking for recruitment, job changes, and salary reviews
  5. Participate in external compensation surveys, analyzing results to inform strategy and pay positioning
  6. Conduct pay equity analyses to ensure internal equity and compliance
  7. Develop reporting and dashboards for data-driven insights
  8. Deliver statutory and internal reports, such as UK Gender Pay Gap reporting
  9. Collaborate with HR Business Partnering teams on compensation policies and processes
  10. Maintain accuracy of compensation data in Workday
  11. Line manage and develop the Total Rewards Analyst role

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  1. Analytically minded and detail-oriented
  2. Strong Excel skills
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  4. Understanding of the EU Pay Transparency Directive
  5. Experience as a Total Rewards or Compensation Manager
  6. Experience with job evaluation methodologies, preferably Mercer IPE
  7. Experience with compensation surveys, such as Croner and Radford
  8. Experience in a growing or evolving Total Rewards function is highly desirable
  9. Experience with Workday and the Advanced Compensation module is highly desirable
  10. Knowledge of the gaming industry is a plus
