We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Director to join the Capital & Financing team within Complex Structuring. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of financing and Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA) optimization to originate and execute innovative transactions. Your primary focus will be on addressing equity clients' funding requirements and optimizing their RWA usage, achieved by developing cutting-edge solutions and fostering collaboration across diverse teams. The Capital & Financing team serves as a crucial component of our strategic offering to equities clients, specializing in designing bespoke solutions to enhance balance sheet management and capital efficiency. As Director, you will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities, structuring highly complex deals, and ensuring seamless execution through close collaboration with trading desks, legal, tax, and risk teams. This position offers a unique chance to work on pioneering transactions that directly contribute to the financial success of our clients and the firm's strategic objectives. This high-profile position provides the opportunity to lead significant transactions, directly influencing client funding optimization and the firm's RWA efficiency. What You'll Do

  • Lead the origination and execution of transactions specifically designed to manage equity clients' funding requirements.
  • Develop innovative and bespoke trade structures for equities clients, tailored to their specific needs.
  • Create and implement sophisticated solutions for recycling risks associated with complex transactions.
  • Execute trades in close collaboration and partnership with the relevant trading desks, ensuring efficient and effective deal flow.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding and comfort with all critical elements required for trade execution, including:
    • Navigating and finalizing complex legal documentation.
    • Understanding and applying appropriate tax considerations.
    • Analyzing and implementing correct accounting treatments.
    • Developing and applying advanced pricing methodologies.
    • Assessing and managing capital considerations and their implications.

What We'll Need From You

  • Demonstrated expertise in financing and RWA mitigation solutions.
  • A proven track record in executing complex structured transactions.
  • Proficiency across all facets of trade execution: legal, tax, accounting, pricing, and capital.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a strong commercial acumen.
  • The ability to work effectively and collaboratively with trading desks and other internal stakeholders.
