Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our compliance team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in our London offices. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

• Be part of a growing, highly skilled compliance team that strives for best practices and offers excellent training and career development opportunities.
• Partner with the Marsh business to oversee and advise on compliance policies, procedures, systems, controls, and governance.
• We are seeking a compliance business partner with an insurance broker or insurer background.

Responsibilities include:

• Act as a trusted advisor for regulatory or governance queries, providing guidance and direction.
• Participate in regular compliance meetings, providing updates on regulatory developments, risks, and actions.
• Develop effective policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Advise and challenge colleagues on compliance issues, including new business models, products, and processes.
• Maintain open communication between compliance and the business regarding initiatives and projects.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support impact assessments and implementation.
• Collaborate with the Advisory team, sharing knowledge and supporting other members.
• Conduct health checks to oversee compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.

Requirements:

• Experience in compliance within the insurance industry (insurer or broker).
• Strong relationship-building skills with business leaders.
• Deep knowledge of the FCA Handbook (Principles, Rules, Guidelines).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred:

• ACII or other insurance qualifications.
• Project management experience.
• University degree or recognized industry accreditation (e.g., ICA Diploma).
