Annual Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Working Pattern: Can be offered Full Time or Part Time

Role Overview

As a Compliance Manager at our client's organisation, you will be pivotal in ensuring that the firm adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Your primary goal will be to proactively manage risks and maintain high compliance standards across all operations, fostering a safe and secure environment for both employees and clients. You will also oversee some office management responsibilities, ensuring a positive and efficient workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust compliance programs aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clear compliance calendar and ensure timely reviews.
  • Advise senior management on compliance matters and oversee implementation.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and provide training to staff on compliance.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation
  • Maintain a risk register and prioritise key areas of focus.
  • Recommend measures to minimise risk and ensure business continuity.
  • Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare reports for management and maintain accurate compliance records.

Office Management (Supporting Duties)

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive environment.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and team-building initiatives.
  • Manage facilities and systems for workplace safety and efficiency.
  • Support remote working arrangements, ensuring compliance and connectivity for all staff.

Person Profile

  • Strong knowledge of compliance and risk management frameworks (essential).

  • An effective communicator who can engage all staff levels in a compliance culture.
  • Positive and approachable, fostering both compliance excellence and team spirit.
