Location: Glasgow or Leicester (Hybrid working - 3 days/week in office)
Salary: £74k (may be flexible for the right candidate) + £6,000 car allowance + excellent benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK financial services organisation for two Compliance Monitoring & Assurance Managers to join their Consumer Protection team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead end-to-end compliance reviews across a broad customer lifecycle, from retail to corporate and wholesale banking.
The team is led by experienced senior managers with deep expertise in consumer protection. You will lead and report on risk-based assurance reviews to identify risks, control themes, potential customer harm, and root causes. You will drive corrective actions to mitigate these risks and improve control frameworks.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and deliver risk-based compliance reviews from scoping to reporting and action management
- Assess regulatory risks across FCA, PSR, and other consumer protection frameworks
- Produce high-quality reports for senior stakeholders, including board-level audiences
- Manage issue validation and follow-up actions post-review
- Contribute to the annual compliance monitoring plan and provide regulatory insights
- Engage with stakeholders up to director level, influencing outcomes and driving improvements
- Focus on customer outcomes and identify risks beyond standard policies
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in compliance monitoring, assurance, audit, or risk roles
- Ability to lead reviews independently and manage teams in a matrix environment
- Excellent understanding of UK regulatory requirements (FCA Handbook, Consumer Duty)
- Background in investment, retail, or corporate banking is highly desirable
- ICA or similar qualifications are beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
