We offer meaningful work and educational opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career, along with a strong work-life balance. Enjoy our flexible work schedule, including our popular 4 Flex working fortnight, giving you every Friday off.

You will work mainly within the engineering team on Airborne Mission Systems, focusing on Merlin, a programme involved with Lockheed Martin for around 30 years. You will also have opportunities to contribute to our current programmes and future capabilities.

This role involves working in a hybrid environment—home-based, at our Havant offices, and at customer sites in Crawley and Yeovil. It is ideal if you have a background in Aerospace compliance verification or other highly regulated industries like Automotive.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) functions according to RA5850, MAA/RN/2020/17, and Lockheed Martin DOE.
  2. Work within the Military Air System Certification Process (MACP): review and approve change classifications, certification artefacts, and submissions for compliance with specifications such as Def Stan 00-970 or EASA CS.
  3. Review and approve system test plans, acceptance test documentation, and qualification evidence.
  4. Manage time effectively to meet cost and quality targets.
  5. Collaborate with suppliers and authorities to review and approve airworthiness documents.
  6. Provide technical input to programme management and commercial teams.
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers internally and externally.

About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Verification Lead with extensive understanding of certification regulations, experience in aerospace or similar industries, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The role involves making safety decisions, understanding air systems design, and managing tasks efficiently. Preferred qualifications include experience as a Tech Lead, completion of relevant courses, and a degree in Engineering or STEM subjects.
