About The Role...

We’re looking for a motivated and detail oriented Configuration Manager to join our team in Portsmouth or Stevenage, working in close collaboration with some of our exciting Defence & Space related projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into Configuration Management, maybe from a background in Project Management, PMO, Document Control, or Supply Chain. If you’re proactive, eager to learn, and ready to thrive under pressure, we want to hear from you. An understanding of PLM systems and tools like Windchill is highly desirable, but above all, we’re looking for someone with the right mindset and a drive to grow in the role.

How You Will Contribute To The Team...

Manage and maintain control of product configuration throughout its lifecycle, from definition to delivery and operations.
Implement and oversee Configuration Management processes, tools, and methods to ensure data consistency and availability across engineering, manufacturing, and service documentation.
Lead and coordinate configuration activities, ensuring timely and accurate CM deliverables in collaboration with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer services teams.
Identify and define configuration items and maintain effective change control procedures, including running Configuration Control Boards (CCB).
Maintain Configuration Status Accounting and conduct Configuration Verification and Audits.

About You...

Familiarity with PLM systems and tools such as Windchill
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
