We are seeking an experienced Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist to lead and coordinate our Psychology service. In this pivotal role, you will provide clinical leadership, drive forward innovative, evidence-based practice, and ensure excellence in neuropsychological assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, with support from our qualified clinical and business leadership teams.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership to the Psychology Service, embedding reflective practice and championing evidence-based approaches.Undertake and oversee comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, contributing to accurate diagnosis and the design of tailored rehabilitation programmes.Deliver and guide a range of evidence-based interventions, including cognitive and mood therapies, and behaviour modification programmes utilising Positive Behaviour Support.Lead, supervise and develop psychology colleagues, including Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists, fostering a culture of growth and clinical excellence.Support and educate families and carers, while providing training and expertise to colleagues across the multidisciplinary team.Represent the service and organisation at patient reviews, discharge planning meetings, and professional forums or conferences, enhancing our reputation as a centre of excellence.Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, keeping people safe from harm and upholding their human rights at all times.Lead participation in active learning initiatives and benefit from training and development opportunities (e.g., Active Learning Hub).Contribute to staff wellbeing through benefits such as the Active Reward App and 24-hour confidential Employee Assistance Programme helpline and app.Support pension arrangements and benefits, including a salary sacrifice Aegon 5% matched pension.Provide leadership across the service to influence clinical standards, service development, and innovation within a multidisciplinary team.Play a pivotal role in improving outcomes for patients with complex neurological needs.Lead a respected Psychology Service within a nationally recognised neurorehabilitation centre and support the growth of the team.Qualifications and experienceHCPC registered.Holds a postdoctoral qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN) and is eligible for the Division of Neuropsychology Specialist Register in Clinical Neuropsychology (SRCN).Substantial experience working with acquired brain injury and neurological conditions.Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders.Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.What we offerCompetitive salary (negotiable based on experience).Flexible working (approximately 30-37.5 hours per week).Dedicated support for ongoing training, CPD, and leadership development.Opportunity to work within a collaborative, forward-thinking team committed to excellence in neurorehabilitation.Access to the Active Learning Hub and a range of e-learning and face-to-face training and development opportunities.Active Reward App providing discounts and savings on your weekly shop.Free 24-hour confidential Employee Assistance Programme helpline and app for legal, health, wellbeing, relationship and consumer advice.
