Home-based, Office (Aylesbury, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Belfast) or hybrid working

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Consultant to join our Managed Cloud Services team and help our customers to be successful with ArcGIS. Working closely with Professional Services and Technical Support, you will contribute towards the maintenance of existing services, as well as proactive and reactive support for our Managed Cloud Services customers. All members of the team also contribute to Service improvement projects.

Managed Cloud Services host and maintain enterprise-wide environments for customers across a range of market sectors, your key responsibilities as a Managed Services Consultant would be to:

  • Service Monitoring and issue resolution: Monitor incident trends and undertake a proactive and reactive approach to service-related issues.
  • Innovation: act as point of escalation for service-related issues. Take the initiative to challenge existing ways of working and establish new processes that increase efficiency and provide new capabilities
  • Enhance customer experience : Implement service improvements which are identified and prioritised as a business.
  • Collaborate : Work with engagement teams to grow accounts
  • Automate : Identify opportunities to automate, streamline and improve processes and reporting.
  • Grow your knowledge: Keep up to date with changes to the ArcGIS System and Cloud Providers, finding new ways it can be used to solve our customers real-world problems. Gain experience of the latest technology and understanding of our key market sectors.

About You

We are keen to consider candidates with a range of experience for the Consultant role, this would be a great career if you:

  • Have experience in a technical role, ideally with experience in AWS / Azure and / or ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Have an interest in developing your IT and cloud and Esri technology skills.
  • Enjoy problem solving and have an ability to understand a challenge from multiple perspectives.
  • Have an aptitude for technological improvements.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Can clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical project managers or customers.
  • Have good interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
  • Can develop strong interdepartmental and cross-functional working relationships within a collaborative team environment.
  • Are self-motivated, good at creating and nurturing relationships, and enthusiastic about delivering a high-quality service.

Addition Information

Location: We offer flexibility around location. You can opt for home-based working, or office based in either Edinburgh, Aylesbury, Cambridge or Belfast. There is also an opportunity to work a mix of both in a hybrid model. We work virtual-first with most of our customers, however some travel to customer sites will be required.
