Position

R&D Consultant – London, UK (Ayming UK)

Responsibilities

  • Client facing: Build client relationships throughout the sales and production process, including regular correspondence for claim-related information and liaising directly with government task authorities on the client’s behalf.
  • Subject matter expert: Maintain a technical understanding of your specialism with working knowledge of consulting processes.
  • Report and claim management: Assist in creating structured claim reports, R&D project descriptions and justifications, and claims adjustments based on determined tax liability.
  • Awareness and informed perspective: Stay well-versed in current affairs and innovative developments across key global sectors.

Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably within the mechanical engineering industry.
  • Strong Academic Foundation: Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Collaborative & Dependable: Works well in teams, aligns with client needs, and follows structured methodologies.
  • Proactive Learner & Problem Solver: Demonstrates curiosity, critical thinking, and initiative in tackling challenges and learning about R&D tax.
