Consultant/Solicitor (Commercial Property) – 12 Month FTC

Are you an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor looking for a role that combines technical excellence with purpose-driven work? This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Third Sector Property Team, working with charities, faith-based organisations, and social enterprises. We provide a highly personalised and meaningful service in commercial property transactions, helping clients who are dedicated to improving communities and society.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development projects.
• Provide strategic advice on complex property transactions.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain high standards of client care and service delivery.
• Contribute to team objectives and goals.

Required Experience & Skills

• Demonstrate technical excellence in a wide range of commercial property work.
• Confidently advise on complex matters and projects while managing a full caseload of mixed commercial property transactions.
• Understand and embrace the unique needs of our third sector clients, tailoring advice accordingly.
• Champion the firm’s purpose, values, and goals, fostering a positive culture.
• Manage and supervise junior fee earners, supporting the team in achieving short-term goals.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Show excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Display strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
• Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial property.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to manage complex transactions.
• Previous experience working with charity or third sector clients (desirable but not essential).
