Job Description:
This is a permanent full-time role based in London, hybrid work arrangement. The role involves working as a Consulting Technical Test Architect within the QA & Testing Engineering team at NewDay, focusing on transforming QA into a Quality Engineering function to enhance product quality and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities (0-12 months):
- Lead in Quality Engineering to improve testing efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand objectives and automation needs.
- Design and evaluate software automation test architecture and tools.
- Lead test strategy, automation framework, and test script development and review.
- Establish root cause analysis mechanisms and communicate findings effectively.
- Research and implement advanced automation features, including self-healing and script-less automation.
- Develop automation skills within the team to foster growth.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in software QA and test program development.
- Extensive experience with automated testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber/Gherkin.
- Proficiency with REST/RESTful web services, GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins, Postman.
- Knowledge of programming languages/frameworks like C, C++, C#, Java, VB, Python.
- Understanding of cloud resources (AWS, Azure) and DevOps concepts (containerization, pipelines).
