AI Lead Solutions Architect | £750/day | Inside IR35 | 11 Month Contract | Mostly Remote

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Lead Solutions Architect to drive the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and ethically aligned AI solutions. You will play a key role in developing Target Operating Models (TOMs) to support enterprise-wide AI adoption and integration, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of enterprise-level AI architectures and frameworks
• Develop and implement TOMs to support AI integration across the business
• Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and meet government and industry standards
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align AI initiatives with strategic goals
• Contribute to the development of reusable architecture patterns and internal capability building
• Support delivery teams by assuring technical quality and alignment with broader digital strategies

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience designing and scaling AI solutions in complex, regulated environments
• Deep understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including model governance and responsible AI practices
• Technical expertise with tools and platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex, and open-source AI/ML stacks
• Experience implementing and scaling Agentic AI frameworks
• Strong background in regulated environments, with familiarity in risk-based AI assurance, DPIAs, data protection, and transparency requirements
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical, deliverable solutions
• Strong technical authorship skills – able to write and structure architectural documentation independently
• Hands-on delivery experience, not just oversight – this role requires individual contribution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
