Halian Technology are currently looking to hire several contract Junior - Mid Level Java Developers for a fintech business in Hampshire.

We are looking for a UK-based professional with a strong background in Java and some UI capability who want to work on a greenfield build with some of the latest technologies.

You will not be alone in this role, as this is a brand new team build, making it an exciting time to sign up on a contract basis.

These are entry to mid-level roles, allowing you to spearhead your experience in a fast-paced role with a leading Fintech while working on a greenfield project.

Key Responsibilities:

To analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production.

You will achieve team commitments (and influence others to do the same) by using informal leadership and highly developed communication skills.

You will have an oversight on design decisions and guide the team to achieve key results for products assigned to them.

Key Skills needed:

• 3 years Java Development
• Spring boot 3
• Experience with one of the UI technologies
• Expertise in key technologies to be leveraged by the team, including Java, CI/CD technologies
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/Openshift) and cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP or others

Note that not all these tech skills are mandatory.

The roles are Hybrid in Hampshire.
