Can you work independently, have an eye for detail and are you passionate about improving the quality of services in adult health and social care? If you answered "Yes", then we need you in our team to monitor, assess and evaluate the quality of care across a range of private, voluntary and public sector organisations.

What’s the role?

Working on behalf of a range of client groups living at home or in residential care or supported living, you will be responsible for highlighting areas of good practice, making recommendations on service improvements and addressing provider underperformance. You will ensure that the user experience is at the centre of the quality monitoring and assurance process.

  • Generous holiday allowance
  • Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Flexible working and family friendly policies
  • Season ticket and bicycle loans
  • A range of staff discounts including local subsidised gym memberships
  • Supportive staff networks

What we’re looking for

You will be committed to improving the lives of adults with health and social care needs with a focus on improving outcomes, quality of life and promoting independence. You will be skilled in gathering, analysing and interpreting evidence of service delivery, using your own observations and professional judgement to recognise when there are issues with quality. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in giving challenging and constructive advice and support on service performance.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, SE6 4RU, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

You may be required to visit and assess services outside regular office hours. The recruitment process is anonymous and we don't accept CVs. It is essential that you complete the application fully and that your supporting statement covers how you meet each of the person specification criteria listed.
