Conveyancer | Busy, Established Firm | Genuine Progression | No heavy BD required | £40k - £60k + bonus

If you’re an experienced Conveyancer looking to join a thriving, stable, and highly regarded practice, this opportunity with a well-respected firm in Ringwood offers a busy caseload, strong support, and real scope to grow your career within a long-established firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, registered and unregistered titles, and new build/plot work.
  • Deliver high-quality client service with autonomy, supported by experienced paralegals and assistants.
  • Contribute to the firm’s ongoing success and maintain the standard of work expected in a well-regarded practice.

About the Firm and Team

The firm has around 50 staff across the practice, including Equity and Salaried Partners, solicitors, conveyancers, paralegals, and assistants. Conveyancing accounts for over 50% of fee income, with work coming from local, regional, and City clients. The firm has served the community for over 200 years and relies on reputation, repeat business, and referrals, meaning there’s no heavy requirement for business development or networking. All four current partners have made partnership since joining the firm, and there is a clear pathway for those who want it, with no sense of competition.

Requirements

  • Experience to hit the ground running and confidently manage files independently.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in the running of the business; value collaboration and contributing to ongoing success.
  • Most fee earners are 5+ PQE; autonomy and the ability to work with limited supervision are preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary (typically set at just over 3x salary target, with flexibility based on experience) and strong bonus structure.
  • Hybrid working, flexible hours, and generous team support.
  • Open-door culture with a focus on work-life balance and long-term security in a stable, busy, and profitable firm.
