Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) is a market leading, award-winning provider of cash management, cards and trade solutions to financial institutions, public sector, and corporate clients around the world. TTS has a global network spanning 90+ countries and delivers integrated reporting and management. TTS is a highly innovative organization with a strong digital agenda; new products and services are continuously developed to meet client needs and unlock growth opportunities. Trade is part of the TTS business and covers documentary services, trade and working capital loans, receivables finance, and payable finance and EAF. Product Management and Product Development work closely with Trade Architecture and Controls to deliver the full suite of solutions. This role aims to transform the Trade business to a more digital, straight-through, scalable model, focusing on client requirements, operational efficiency and future product expansion.

What you’ll do

In this position you will be responsible for managing the relationships of global (re)insurance, surety and broker clients from a Segment perspective and developing and leading the strategic roadmap for High Value Corporate client engagement across the Core Trade Products in the UK. You will drive revenues, ensure solutions meet client needs, and promote innovation, scalability and operational excellence. The role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, strong leadership, proven client management experience and a passion for transforming the trade ecosystem through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Insurance Segment: Grow and manage the Core Trade Insurance portfolio across (Re)insurance, Lloyd’s of London, Surety and Broker markets; manage day-to-day C-Suite client engagement; serve as subject matter expert for Insurance Core Trade Products and develop an associated growth strategy; act as deal primary on client facilities and new client opportunities.
  • UK Segment: Develop a strategic roadmap for High Value Corporate client engagement across UK clients and flows; identify key trade flows and develop a regional strategy to grow the Core Trade business; partner with Trade Sales and Client Coverage teams to drive execution; market Core Trade capabilities internally and externally.
  • Insurance & UK Segments: Ensure accountability of internal partners to pitch Core Trade products; drive client value propositions, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies and competitive differentiation; conduct market research, develop product innovation roadmap and identify gaps with Citi’s product offering; work with Core Trade Product groups to identify gaps and prioritize solutions; drive segment financial performance and KPI achievement; lead innovation with external partners/alliances; assess risk in decisions with focus on regulatory compliance and ethics.

What we’ll need from you

  • Significant experience in client-facing leadership roles
  • Knowledge of the Insurance market is highly desirable and advantageous
  • Proven track record of client delivery driving revenue growth
  • Strong knowledge of trade finance, supply chain or logistics domains is desirable
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments and drive results
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus
