About the role
CACI’s marketing department is looking for an ambitious, creative, and results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to own and deliver lead generation for its Consumer & Market Intelligence and Experience & Transformation divisions. These divisions have complementary services targeting sectors including Retail, Leisure, FMCG, Financial Services, and Public Sector. The Senior Marketing Manager is a fundamental role in ensuring a consistent voice within market and recognising opportunities to combine efforts to maximise return.
This will be a hybrid role, with both ownership and execution of campaigns, whilst also managing a team of three marketers who are responsible for their own campaigns within key target areas. The Senior Marketing Manager will have overarching ownership of setting the marketing objectives for the two business units, in alignment with CACI’s growth goals. They will be responsible for ensuring all campaigns generated by their team align to the set marketing goals, the CACI brand pillars, and are of the highest quality.
Stakeholder management is a fundamental part of this role, with the Senior Marketing Manager working directly with sales managers and business unit leadership to determine priorities, set KPIs, and agree key activities to be booked within the allocated budget.
This role will sit within the wider marketing team, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing. It will be supported by a centralised team of specialists across design, content marketing, brand, and digital.
Role responsibilities
Key responsibilities and areas of focus within this role include:
- Setting the overarching plan for each business unit, support by the Head of Marketing.
- Managing a small team of marketers of Senior Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager levels.
- Owning, managing and maintaining the combined budget for the two business units, supported by the Head of Marketing.
- Responsible for evaluating all marketing campaign ideas raised by the business unit, ensuring it is well thought out, logical, feasible, and in line with marketing and business objectives.
- Delivery of regular campaign reports to your sales managers and Head of Marketing.
- Ownership of marketing campaigns for a select group of focus sectors and priority services within your business units.
- Responsible for guiding and coaching your team members on marketing best practices, setting standards, and driving processes where needed.
- Supporting the Head of Marketing with the execution of our PR strategy for the Consumer & Market Intelligence division, working alongside a PR agency.
- Responsible for identifying market trends and understanding how they translate to CACI services, to drive campaign ideation.
- Taking ownership of ensuring every campaign delivered by you and your team has purpose and is designed to drive genuine leads.
- Ownership of campaign sign-off for your team, ensuring they are always of a high standard before launch.
- Leading on brand advocacy, guiding your team and stakeholders on how to positively represent
- CACI in every marketing and customer facing engagement.
- Ownership of identifying, evaluating and pitching new initiatives that align to your business unit, your target audiences, and contribute to relevant growth goals.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will be:
- An experienced people manager [preferred].
- Experienced in managing and maintaining a budget [preferred].
- Familiar with HubSpot and WordPress [preferred].
- Experienced in end-to-end ownership of lead generation campaigns; from ideation to execution, and reporting.
- A confident and creative marketer, with a can-do attitude, comfortable in taking ownership and accountability of the campaigns of you and your team.
- Confident in a broad range of marketing channels across digital, events, and content – and integrating every channel to create multi-touch campaigns.
- Enthusiastic about setting high standards within your marketing, with a keen eye for detail.
- A brand advocate, passionate about ensuring all marketing positively represents CACI.
- Proactive but considered in your approach to creating campaigns.
- Keen to learn and grow within the role.
- Comfortable in challenging the status-quo to keep your marketing efforts current and innovative.
- A competent copywriter and proofreader.
- Performance driven with a desire to evaluate all marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements.
- A strong project manager with demonstrable ability to multitask and effectively manage campaigns across multiple areas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build successful working relationships with your team and stakeholders.
- Experienced in working directly with sales reps, business leaders, and product owners.
