FT Recruitment has been approached by a well-known local accountancy firm to assist in the recruitment of a Corporate Tax professional at either Assistant Manager or Manager level. This role will be based in Aberdeen with potential remote/hybrid working for the right candidate due to the firm’s policy.

The Main Duties Of This Role

• Assist with managing a small tax team whilst providing leadership and guidance to ensure the team delivers high-quality work
• Advise clients on corporate tax issues, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting
• Prepare and review tax returns, tax provisions, and tax planning strategies for corporate clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, working collaboratively with them to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
• Stay up-to-date with changes to tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance for clients
• Support the growth of the firm by engaging in business development activities when the opportunity arises
• Suitable candidates will have experience working within a tax setting, either in practice or industry
