Overview

Corporate Tax Manager opportunity based in Leeds with flexible location options (Leeds or Hertford). Salary £55,000 - £65,000 plus Benefits and overtime pay in January. Closing date: 19 Oct 2025. This role sits within a well-established accountancy practice with a strong regional presence, renowned for tax compliance and advisory work. Responsibilities

• Proactively manage your own portfolio of corporate tax clients
• Review tax work to ensure accuracy and high standards
• Analyse and monitor team performance to identify training needs
• Deliver training and mentoring to tax team members
• Ensure profitability and efficiency across the team
• Take ownership of tax compliance delivery, including reviewing and managing the preparation of tax returns
• Maintain high standards of accuracy in all compliance work
• Contribute to ad hoc advisory projects as applicable

Qualifications

• ATT qualified (CTA preferred) or qualified by experience
• Minimum 5 years' management experience in practice within an income tax compliance role
• Strong knowledge of income tax compliance and UK tax regulations
• Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills
• Proven track record of client service delivery
• Experience dealing with NHS Superannuation issues (advantageous)
