Job Type: Associate (self employed) PT Evening and Weekends - Monday evenings and approx. 3 x Sat/Sun per month.

Salary:£40 per hour /£5980 per academic year

Hours: 144 per academic year

Location: Liverpool (blended delivery)

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Hold a L4 or above in Therapeutic Counselling (min 420hrs)
• Min 10hrs of personal therapy
• Member of BACP or equivalent
• Current practitioner with a min of 450 counselling hours or 2 years supervised counselling practice.
• Supervisor qualification or 1 yrs experience of providing group supervision in a counselling setting.
• Recognised teaching qualification
• Min of 2 years teaching experience at L2 and L3

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons both in person and via Teams/Zoom that meet Sysco’s and Awarding Body (CPCAB) standards
• Develop high quality lesson plans and resources
• Prepare teaching sessions to ensure a high quality of education is upheld
• Maintain accurate and timely records
• Demonstrate reflective practice
• Embed Maths, English, Digital Skills, British Values and Employability into lessons.
• Ensure all learning is inclusive and safe
• Set, mark and record assignments in line with awarding body standards
• Provide effective timely feedback
• Monitor, record and report progress
• Support teaching on residential
• Support fit to practice assessments
• Contribute to the SAR & QIP process
• Uphold policies and procedures
• Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested

Teaching hours

Lessons will be face to face and online.

The timetable is set and can be shared with eligible applicants to ensure clarity.

You will be teaching approx. 3 weekend days per month (e.g. Saturday, Sunday, Sunday) plus 1 Monday evening per month. Max hrs expected to be 144 per annum.
