Scope of the role
An exciting new role has opened for a motivated and talented creative copywriter to join the itsu [grocery] team. This role offers the exciting opportunity to be the voice of one of the fastest growing food brands in the UK. This hands-on role is perfect for
someone who loves food and brining ideas to life through words. As creative copywriter, you’ll work alongside the Brand Director and an inhouse
studio team to deliver best in class communications across online, on pack, social,
and advertising.
You’ll be responsible for best in class copy in multiple formats and across multiple channels, including:
Packaging & story telling:
- On pack “stories” detailing the provenance, quality, and usage of our products
- Working collaboratively with the brand director, design team and NPD team to create engaging names, flashes and sub copy for the front of our products
- Campaigns & Advertising
- All headlines and sub copy for retailer advertising [digital, POS and
- print]
- Working alongside the Brand Director and external agencies to create headlines for above the line advertising in the UK and Europe
Website:
- All marketing, descriptive copy and body copy on the grocery section of itsu.com
Social media:
- LinkedIn posts highlighting key brand moments
- Working collaboratively with the itsu social media manager to craft consistent Instagram captions
Tone of voice guardian:
- Work collaboratively with the brand director to create a itsu grocery copy brand book, shaping and explaining the TOV and storing key headlines and body copy for other teams to refer to
Internal comms
- Work with the HR team to craft consistent internal comms
