We're putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for runners. We help everyday runners become outstanding by building an incredible app providing world‑class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5 k time or training for your first marathon. We’re growing extremely fast! In November 2023 we closed a $6.5 M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. In 2024 we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the 2024 iPhone App of the Year, reflecting the innovation and impact of what we’ve built and now in 2025 we have just been acquired by Strava!

Base Pay Range

£60,000 – £70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus participation in Strava’s long‑term incentive stock programmes.

Responsibilities

You’ll take full ownership of Runna’s performance creative function – setting the strategic vision, managing cross‑functional production, and developing high‑performing creative across channels. You’ll report to Laura, Head of Performance Marketing.

  • Line‑manage and coordinate the workload of internal and external producers across static, video, and UGC
  • Lead the end‑to‑end creative strategy for performance marketing, with a focus on improving CAC and LTV
  • Build and manage a quarterly creative roadmap aligned with channel priorities and business goals
  • Oversee the development, prioritisation and execution of creative briefs across all channels around our fast‑paced production cycles
  • Own and evolve a robust creative testing framework, scaling winners and cutting under‑performers
  • Improve creative workflows and explore AI/automation tools to boost production throughput
  • Act as the bridge between Creative and Paid Media to ensure alignment, communication and results

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in creative strategy, performance marketing or paid social
  • Proven track record in managing complex creative production workflows and cross‑functional teams
  • Strong understanding of how different creative functions (strategy, production, design, UGC) collaborate to deliver high‑performing campaigns
  • Proficiency in Figma or a similar tool – using it to map ideas, lead brainstorms and bring creative concepts to life collaboratively
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strategic thinker with strong instincts for creative, data and execution
  • Passion for innovation and experimentation, with a willingness to push boundaries

  • A background or interest in fitness, health or lifestyle brands
  • Deep understanding of Figma and AI/automation tools – knowing how to use them to enhance ideation, collaboration and production efficiency across creative workflows

Interview Process

Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and will consist of the following stages:

  • Screening call with Josh, Talent Lead (25‑minute video call)
  • Take‑home task (1‑2 hrs) and interview with Laura, Head of Performance and Miranda, Director of Growth (50‑minute video call)
  • Final round: London office visit – 1 hr in‑person to meet with Dom, CEO and the rest of the UK Growth Team
