Job Summary

We are looking for a Creative Technologist to join our London team to bootstrap our creative interactive digital development (3D/AR/VR/AI). This is an exciting opportunity that will challenge your frontend skills with opportunities for leadership and project ownership across our movie and music industry clients who include Universal, Disney, Twitch, Netflix, Sony Pictures and many more. Projects range from immersive AR experiences through to high-concept websites and cutting-edge interactive activations.

What You 0ll Do

• Interactive, Immersive Web Development: You will be leading creative website builds, representing our technical excellence in front of the best-known in the movie industry
• Technical Discovery & Ideation: You will collaborate closely with our Creative Team on new concepts, proposing the best technical solutions or executions for each idea
• Independent Ownership: Leadership and ownership of the complete development lifecycle of your projects from development/QA to project activation
• R&D: Drive R&D (Research & Development) with the Labs team to bring the latest technologies and innovation to Powster Creative Activations
• Team Mentorship & Knowledge-Sharing: You will mentor and coach engineers across the team to share your expertise

Requirements

• Proven creative development experience: minimum 4+ years as a Software Engineer working within WebGL / AR development
• Portfolio: A creative portfolio demonstrating your range of experience
• Technical Stack: In-depth knowledge and commercial experience with ThreeJS/WebAR/WebGL/8th Wall or similar webAR engine; comfortable with the JavaScript environment (Node.js / React)
• AI experience: Knowledge or experience working with Machine Learning models/libraries (TensorFlow, Stable Diffusion, OpenAI, etc) for AI-driven activations
• Fullstack: Ability to navigate between Backend and Frontend architectures
• Creative Flair: Strong eye for design with the talent for translating static designs into interactive experiences
• Communication: Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Technology Focus: Ongoing self-improvement and creating projects for personal benefit

Nice-to-Haves

• 3D Experience: Exposure to Unreal, Blender or other 3D software (bonus)
• DevOps: Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (preferably AWS)
