Creche Assistant – Devonshire FWC | Childcare | Bank | Ad Hoc

£12.33 per hour

We are looking for a Creche Assistant at our club who will create a safe, secure and stimulating creche environment — one where children can explore their potential. You’ll consider their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development, through play and education, while keeping up with the latest changes in childcare legislation. We’ll provide opportunities to train in new techniques and approaches.

Responsibilities contribute to a safe and enriching creche experience and support children’s development in line with current childcare standards and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Take reasonable care of yourself and others while complying with Health and Safety policy at all times.
• Create a safe, clean, tidy, secure and stimulating creche environment where children can fully explore their potential.
• Consider children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education.
• Provide equipment for play and education.
• Ensure creche is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
• Liaise with parents and carers regularly in an informative and appropriate manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a creche environment.
• Qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, or BTEC.
• Ideally EYPS, Paediatric First Aid.
• Availability to work shifts between 09:00-12:00 and 16:00-19:00.

Working pattern

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
