Responsibilities

• Proactively manage customer accounts by setting appropriate credit limits and terms to balance sales opportunities with financial risk.
• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, ensuring they are aware of their account balances and negotiating payment plans when needed.
• Be responsible for chasing overdue payments and ensuring all debt-related correspondence is clear, professional, and visible to stakeholders.
• Monitor customer activity to identify potential fraud risks and help protect the business.
• Liaise with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and with the credit insurance providers to manage credit limit requests.
• Release orders on finance hold, handle customer queries, and, when necessary, instantiate legal proceedings for debt recovery.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong Communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Analytical Mind: You have thorough attention to detail, are persistent, and can make sound decisions under pressure.
• Customer-Focused: You are dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
• Tech-Savvy: You are familiar with data entry software and have the ability to quickly get up to speed with their systems (NetSuite, AIG, RBS Discounting).
• Team-Oriented: You work well with others and can build effective relationships across departments.
