About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our Credit Control team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven experience in a fast‑paced credit control environment, who thrives on attention to detail and enjoys working collaboratively.

You will be individually responsible for a defined portfolio of accounts, segmented by customer type and sector, and play a key role in the collection and management of debt across our Major Business Account ledgers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high‑risk accounts with a focus on recovering outstanding balances.
• Use strong listening and negotiation skills to engage with customers who have a propensity for non‑payment.
• Audit accounts to identify and resolve incorrect charges.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues and facilitate timely payments.
• Provide cover for team members across active Gas & Power ledgers during absences.

Based at the Kingswood Field office KT20 6RP (Tadworth), a 28‑acre office campus site set in the Surrey countryside with Trail walks. You will enjoy a modern vibrant and friendly working environment. There is a state‑of‑the‑art on‑site gym run by Nuffield, with classes on set days in the mornings, at lunch and after work hours.
