Job Opportunity: Credit Control Specialist
My client is a market leader in the Healthcare logistics sector. The team consists of highly experienced professionals who are industry experts. They are looking for a dedicated individual to join on a permanent basis. The business offers a hybrid working model.
Overview:
The role involves ensuring the timely payment of trade debtors in line with company credit terms and contributing to the achievement of the Credit Control team's targets and KPIs.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and collecting debts according to company credit terms.
- Following up on overdue debts as necessary.
- Chasing payments via calls, emails, and letters while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Handling inquiries from practices, insurance companies, and patients, and assisting the credit control team with various tasks.
- Resolving client queries by collaborating with other departments to correct billing errors.
- Escalating overdue accounts to the Credit Control Supervisor.
- Identifying potential bad debts and reporting details to the Credit Control Supervisor.
- Collaborating with the sales and service team in London to resolve client issues.
- Liaising with external stakeholders, such as insurance companies, to resolve invoice queries.
- Supporting ad hoc projects as directed by the Head of Credit Control or Finance Manager.
Additional Skills Required:
- Basic understanding of invoicing and accounting processes.
- Experience interacting with both the public and corporate clients at various levels.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
