Join us as a Credit Operations Analyst at Barclays, where you’ll be responsible for managing the operational aspects of credit facilities across our Private Bank, including the fulfilment and servicing of our Security Backed Lending Product. You will ensure that all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards, while working closely with key stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely processing, and supporting the end-to-end credit lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day Private Bank and Wealth Management initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution with regards to accounts, products and services.
- Support the management of the bank's client relations to clearly identify needs and provide a service that meets expectations.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
- Develop and implement Private Bank and Wealth Management procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Develop reports and presentations on Private Bank and Wealth Management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Private Bank and Wealth Management Services.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Private Bank and Wealth Management efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- A strong understanding of the end-to-end credit journey.
- Strong knowledge of different credit products and processes.
- Awareness of operational requirements within a credit environment.
- A tech-savvy approach, with confidence in navigating systems and tools.
- The ability to effectively manage and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Previous experience of working in a credit operations environment (highly valued).
- Understanding of the financial services sector and relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with internal credit systems and platforms.

- Maintain and continually build an understanding of how your sub-function integrates with the function and the organisation's products, services and processes.
- Communicate complex information clearly and act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function.

This role is hybrid and based in Glasgow.
