New Yesterday

Overview

CRM Technology Manager (Braze Specialist) to join our Martech team. This role will play a critical part in the successful delivery of our global Braze migration and, beyond migration, will take ownership for unlocking new features and capabilities within Braze to accelerate ClearScore’s CRM strategy. You’ll combine technical expertise, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our lifecycle marketing platforms are stable, scalable, and delivering measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

Migration Delivery

  • Support the migration of remaining markets to Braze, ensuring stability, consistency, and minimal disruption.
  • Quickly learn and manage delivery from our legacy CEP (Blueshift), ensuring smooth transition off the platform and into Braze.
  • Partner with CRM, Data, and Engineering teams to configure Braze instances, validate SDK integrations, and manage data schema alignment.
  • Own the migration playbook, ensuring documentation and learnings are captured and shared across markets.
  • Conduct UAT and QA for migrated data and campaigns, ensuring compliance, deliverability, and performance tracking.

Optimisation & Capability Growth (Post-Migration)

  • Lead the exploration, testing, and rollout of new Braze features (e.g. Content Cards, In-App Messaging, Personalised Paths, AI Catalyst).
  • Partner with CRM stakeholders on the implementation of our new global contact strategy leveraging Braze’s advanced capabilities.
  • Build and own creative asset templates within Braze (using HTML, CSS, Liquid) to ensure communications are scalable, maintainable, and consistently high quality.
  • Champion best practice in data-driven targeting, segmentation, and personalisation.
  • Ensure documentation and knowledge sharing so CRM teams across markets can self-serve effectively.

Ongoing Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for Braze within ClearScore.
  • Provide second-line technical support and troubleshooting for advanced CRM issues.
  • Collaborate with Engineering/Data teams to ensure data pipelines and integrations remain stable and fit for purpose.
  • Stay abreast of industry and vendor innovation, identifying opportunities to bring new capabilities into ClearScore’s CRM ecosystem.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience as a Braze administrator (or equivalent CEP such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Iterable).
  • Proven track record managing CRM migrations and/or upgrades (Braze experience strongly preferred; ability to learn legacy platforms quickly essential).
  • Strong technical background: SQL, APIs, SDKs, data modelling, ETLs.
  • Ability to code and maintain email/app templates using HTML, CSS, and Liquid within Braze (or comparable platform).
  • Familiarity with warehouse-driven CRM (Databricks, Hightouch, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to scope and deliver technical solutions to business problems.
  • Experience with compliance and governance (PII, audits, SSO, MFA).
  • Excellent stakeholder management across marketing, data, and engineering.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior colleagues.
  • Excellent written and verbal English for documentation, system training and scoping.
  • Strong project management with multiple complex projects related to CRM campaigns and PII data.

Desirable:

  • Experience configuring and maintaining CRM platforms — migrations, upgrades, maintenance, beta feature adoption.
  • Working knowledge of adtech platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok) a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with CMS/DAM integrations (e.g. Contentful, Bynder).
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools within marketing platforms desirable.
  • Experience working in global/multi-market environments.
  • Fintech or regulated industry experience a plus.
