Computershare have a fantastic opportunity for a CTI Analyst to join our Global Cyber Defence team in Bristol or Edinburgh. The Global Cyber Defence team is responsible for delivering a comprehensive portfolio of technical security controls, monitoring services and intelligence services across the wider Global Information Security team (GIS).

A role you will love
This role is part of a global team delivering security services for critical applications and infrastructure to ensure resilience against existing and emerging cyber threats. The CTI Analyst will perform activities across the intelligence lifecycle, provide analysis of threats, publish timely safety alerts and threat reports, and work with stakeholders to improve defensive posture and response capabilities. The role also involves delivering intelligence packages to support Computershare’s cyber awareness program.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct activities across the intelligence lifecycle to deliver timely, actionable and relevant intelligence products.
- Research indicators of compromise, adversarial TTPs, malicious infrastructure, countermeasures and vulnerabilities.
- Identify potential new sources of intelligence to be integrated into existing intelligence platforms and monitoring technologies.
- Interact with intelligence suppliers and the industry to share relevant intelligence in a timely fashion and close intelligence gaps.
- Integrate intelligence from internal and external sources to support Security Engineering and Security Operations in delivering proactive and reactive threat mitigations.
- Create written and verbal intelligence products for stakeholders to proactively address threats.
- Develop and present key findings to senior technical and non-technical leadership.
What will you bring to the role?
We operate in a fast-paced and changing environment; you should be adaptable, approachable and autonomous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to articulate complex technical terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ideally you will have understanding of work routines and procedures used to support Cyber Threat Intelligence, knowledge of threat assessments, threat actor TTPs, and exploitation methods.
Other Key Skills
- Attention to detail and evaluative judgment based on best practice and experience.
- Ability to address and resolve issues by applying technical expertise to implement solutions.
- Experience in maintaining high quality standards and meeting deadlines.
- Working knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
- One or more of the following certifications: GCTI, CPTIA, CRTIA or equivalent.
- Understanding of security principles in OWASP, NIST and ISO27001.
