The successful candidate will combine their creativity and management acumen with an ability to work collaboratively and creatively with many stakeholders, from art world and architecture colleagues to local authorities, schools and local grassroots organisations. The role requires a thoughtful approach to and genuine interest in community engagement which informs all aspects of the curatorial decision-making process. An equally important aspect of the work is to line manage two Engagement Coordinators and to take an active role in the operational management of Create London’s venues, overseeing financial and administrative tasks that keep the venues welcoming and safe, while contributing to fundraising activities.

In this rewarding role, the candidate will contribute with rigorous commissioning and engagement strategies alongside practical delivery of programmes from end to end, engaging and exciting diverse audiences in East London.

You will be based at Create London’s office in Dagenham and may be required to work from other Create London premises.
