Overview

Customer Data Strategy Consultant role focusing on strategies, architecting scalable solutions, and guiding implementation of customer-centric data platforms. Location: London, Manchester or other UK locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Customer Data Strategies: Design strategies to enable personalised customer experiences across online and offline channels.
  • Product Management: Define and manage customer data products, including use case prioritisation, roadmap development, and value measurement.
  • Data Modernisation: Apply modern data principles to transform legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native architectures.
  • Customer Data Architecture: Collaborate with architects to design and implement CDPs, MDM, and CRM systems that support real-time decisioning.
  • Insight Generation: Partner with data scientists and analysts to generate insights that inform customer engagement strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a conduit between business and data teams, translating requirements and guiding delivery.
  • Measurement & Value Realisation: Ensure initiatives are measurable and communicate value effectively to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in customer data strategy, product management, or data architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Activation enabling technologies, including Martech and Adtech ecosystems, Digital Experience Platforms or Customer Contact Centers.
  • Experience with CDPs (e.g., Salesforce CDP, Adobe Experience Platform), MDM, and CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with analytical approaches such as segmentation, propensity modelling, and next-best-action.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and data engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Data Science, Business, or related field.
  • Certifications in cloud architecture or data governance.
  • Experience in customer journey analytics and value forecasting.
