Customer Operations Executive

This role sits within the Operations team and is part of our Customer Operations team. They represent Funding Circle and work passionately to ensure small businesses have an excellent experience in obtaining funding.

The role

In the Customer Operations team, you will assist small business owners with funding queries. Your role is to provide customer support, helping borrowers understand Funding Circle’s offerings for their growth and expansion needs. You will also deliver excellent service to existing customers and assist them as needed.

As a Customer Operations Executive supporting Sales and Operations, you will focus on delivering customer value that drives satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Handling inbound enquiries via phone or email, answering borrower questions.
  2. Requesting information from borrowers by email or phone.
  3. Updating the Salesforce CRM system with relevant information to progress loan applications.
  4. Building strong relationships with third-party suppliers and internal departments.
  5. Supporting business reporting by maintaining accurate and updated information.
  6. Proactively solving problems, identifying and mitigating risks, issues, or control weaknesses in your daily tasks.
