Reporting To: Buildscout Commercial Director
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Working Location: Hybrid / London (3 days a week on site at our Old Street office)

Buildscout is backed and supported by Searchland, the UK’s leading B2B prop-tech company transforming how businesses and individuals access and leverage property data. This role reports to Buildscout’s Commercial Director and works closely with teams across product, sales, and data.
About The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and empathetic Customer Success Executive to support the success of our clients. You’ll play an essential role in helping customers get started with Buildscout, understand our product, and receive ongoing support. Working closely with the Customer Success and wider team, you’ll help ensure that clients have a positive experience and continue to see value in the platform.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to grow their experience in a customer-facing role within a dynamic tech company.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding new customers, helping them set up and start using the platform
- Support day-to-day client communications through email, calls, or video meetings
- Help monitor customer activity and flag any issues or risks to the Customer Success Manager
- Deliver basic product walkthroughs or training sessions (with guidance where needed)
- Collect and share customer feedback with internal teams to help us improve
- Maintain clear, up-to-date records in HubSpot
- Work closely with the Customer Success Manager to ensure excellent service
Experience
Essential
- Right to work in the UK
- 1 year + of experience in customer success, account management or a similar client-facing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisation and a proactive, solution-focused attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment
Desired
- Previous experience in SaaS, PropTech or construction industries
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools
Interview Process
- Stage 1: 15–20 minute introductory call with HR
- Stage 2: 30–40 minute interview with the Commercial Director
- Stage 3: Final 1 hour interview with Buildscout Commercial Director and Searchland Founders (includes a short exercise)
