What you will be doing

  • Act as a key support resource to internal sales teams, executing client-focused tasks that contribute to a seamless sales cycle and timely post-sales activities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Liaise between Sales and key departments (Order Processing, Credit Control, Supply Chain) to coordinate and optimise workflows, supporting customer success by anticipating needs and removing obstacles.
  • Align and collaborate to enhance the customer journey from order placement through fulfillment, enabling sales teams to focus on engagement, relationships, and revenue generation.
  • Apply a customer-first mindset and contribute insights to improve processes, identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, or opportunities affecting satisfaction or productivity.
  • Coordinate with sales teams as the main point of contact for cross-functional communication to ensure timely resolution of issues and delivery of high-quality service.
  • Deliver against defined service levels and performance metrics set by the Customer Success Team Leader, supporting KPIs and extended business wins.
  • Provide consistent support and process reliability to sales and contribute to improved customer retention and success.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience in customer success, account management, quality, or similar client-facing roles, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of managing mid-to-large client accounts with retention, expansion, and customer satisfaction outcomes.
  • Experience working with Commercial/Sales teams with understanding of revenue drivers and sales cycles.
  • Ability to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and contribute to account growth.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels; good IT literacy and numeracy skills including working with databases.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills; ability to work under pressure; self-motivated with initiative.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or similar tracking software is an advantage.
