Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to importation and export of goods
- Provide clearance instructions
- Check and file customs clearances
- Arrange freight shipments, dealing with freight forwarders and carriers
- Complete internal processes and filing
- Check invoices
- Liaise with various internal and external departments and partners to ensure processes maintained and information received timely and accurately
- Deal with HMRC on submissions and queries
Requirements
- Experience in Customs / Logistics / Freight Forwarding would be preferred.
- A desire to learn and undergo internal and external training to advance skills and knowledge in the area of customs and logistics.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and strong organisations skills are essential
