IN-HOUSE ROLE- CYBERSECURITY SOLICITOR- 5-6 YEARS PQE- BELFAST BASED

A leading global financial institution is seeking a talented and experienced Cybersecurity Lawyer to join their legal team. You will provide legal expertise on cybersecurity issues, data privacy, incident response, regulatory compliance, and technology risk management. You will work with internal stakeholders to navigate regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving digital world.

Responsibilities

  • Provide counsel on all aspects of cybersecurity incident prevention and response, including customer and regulatory notifications, contractual obligations, and legal risk mitigation for cyber and information security stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland / England & Wales (minimum 5 years PQE preferred).

  • Proven experience in Cybersecurity is preferred; candidates from data privacy, IP, or commercial contracts backgrounds will be considered.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable Background

  • Data privacy, commercial contracts, or IP experience considered
