Data Analyst - Hedge Fund

Client Server is looking for a bright and ambitious Data Analyst with a strong foundation in financial markets.

As a Data Analyst you will work across front, middle and back office pricing and times‑series data for trading, data modelling and analysis. You will collaborate with business users to ensure they have access to the data they need, scope out new projects or production changes and test content. You will also work with the offshore Data Operations team to oversee processes, including cross‑checking, verifying and updating security and economic data. This role offers a variety of complex and interesting projects with continual learning opportunities.

Location: Central London office with the flexibility to work from home once a week.

Responsibilities

• Support data and analytics across pricing, trading, and risk functions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Drive data quality initiatives and maintain up‑to‑date security and economic datasets.
• Participate in new project scoping, production changes and testing.

Qualifications

• 2.1 or above in a quantitative discipline such as Data, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Commercial experience in a similar role at an investment firm or asset manager, with a deep understanding of equities, fixed income, derivatives and commodities.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organisation and prioritisation skills.
