Job Opportunity: Data & Insights Analyst

Location: Bracknell Head Office (Minimum of 3 days per week in the office)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

Overview

Role Overview: As a Data & Insights Analyst, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for our business owners. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, develop meaningful reports and dashboards, and ensure the reliable delivery of insights that inform key business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with Business Owners: Collaborate with various departments to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective Tableau dashboards.
• Building and Optimizing Visualisations: Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau visualisations and workbooks to support strategic decision-making.
• Data Extraction and Transformation: Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources for analysis and reporting.
• Ensuring Data Accuracy: Implement validation and QA processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.
• Communicating Insights: Present insights and trends clearly through data storytelling and compelling visuals.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for data sources, report definitions, and dashboard designs.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of data modelling and experience working with SQL or other query languages.
• BI Tools Expertise: Experience with large data sets and enterprise BI tools.
• Tableau Proficiency: Experience with Tableau, including building interactive dashboards and data blending.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
