Business Unit: Chief Data Office
Salary Range: £26,400 to £33,000 per annum DOE
Location: UK Hybrid – Work from anywhere in the UK, with flexibility to occasionally visit Glasgow or Gosforth HUB.
Contract Type: 6 months Fixed Term Contract

In the Data Analytics & Insight team we’re transforming how the business sees and uses data. With a remit of providing the insights needed to key strategic projects and fuel data-driven decision-making, our team is at the heart of strategic change. We are looking for an Analyst, who can join us and be key to helping support and manage the delivery of the analysis and insight the business requires to grow and succeed.
Responsibilities
- Produce and deliver data insights, ensuring output is accurate and delivered within agreed SLAs
- Review processes, suggest and implement improvements and solutions to help create efficiencies for the function
- Provide analysis to internal business customers and develop overall business knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
What you’ll need
- Experience of working with analysis tools for example SAS, SQL, Databricks
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to problem solve and find the best solutions
- A real curiosity about data and latest tools, with a pro-active attitude to development and learning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of the constraints of using sensitive and confidential data
- Flexibility and proactivity with the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines
