Data Analytics Manager - Audit

High-quality data projects within the audit sector are highly desirable. Experience in creating and delivering value-adding data analytics programmes or initiatives to drive high-quality auditing is also preferred. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and practical use of visualization techniques and automation as key areas of focus.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the audit and assurance team's data analytics strategy, enhancing team engagement, developing the future roadmap, and interacting with various stakeholders. This is a permanent role based at our London office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading the development and implementation of data analytics programmes to improve audit quality and processes.
- Fostering engagement and collaboration across audit teams and stakeholders.
- Utilizing technical auditing knowledge to identify risks and opportunities.
- Managing and delivering audit data analytics projects, with support from our change and digital transformation teams, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Providing training and support on data analytics tools and techniques.
- Interacting with audit technical and training teams.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Staying updated on industry trends in data analytics and auditing.
- Developing data models, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholder communication.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional qualification in accountancy (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
- Extensive experience in auditing and accountancy.
- Proven track record in delivering or creating data analytics initiatives.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Power BI, Alteryx) is preferred but not essential.
- Advanced skills in data analytics techniques, statistical analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
