Location: Cambridge/Hybrid with office attendance for an average of 2 days a week

About the role

As a Data Architect, you will:

  • Support the development and delivery of data architectures aligned with our enterprise data strategy.
  • Contribute to the adoption of data mesh and data product principles.
  • Enable analytics, reporting, and operational efficiency through scalable data solutions.
  • Promote data strategy and support stakeholder engagement.
  • Define and implement data architecture roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data architecture standards, patterns, and policies.
  • Support the advancement of data capabilities such as analytics and AI enablement.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in data architecture and AI, contributing ideas for continuous improvement.

About you

You will bring:

  • Experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or a related field (3+ years or demonstrated experience ).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise and information architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Knowledge of data mesh, data products, and data contracts.
  • Experience with data management, integration, and modelling.
  • Awareness of cloud-native data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
